Follow your dreams - back to school
New Start
If you follow my Facebook page or Instagram, you'll know that I'm going back to school..... and tomorrow if my first day. Although I'm not looking forward to the very early start for me... I am very excited. Dragging my Fibro, chronic fatigued ass out of bed at 7am is going to be a challenge.
This is a big deal for me. Not only am I a disabled 36 year old, I used to hate school when I was younger, so it's a double achievement.
I titled this blog follow your dreams... and I have to admit, this dream of mine only started about 5 weeks ago... but it just goes to show, if you put your mind to it, you can do anything. Considering I have struggled so much with my Fibromyalgia lately, I'm really proud of myself for taking this step. So whatever your hopes and dreams may be...... know that you can do it. You can achieve anything you want, if you just have faith in yourself.
Thank you
This time last year I would have never thought that I'd be doing this. I didn't even really fully know the extent of my painting skills back then, so I'm looking forward to seeing how my talent develops when I start at Uni.
I hope you stick with me along this exciting journey, and want to thank all of you for your support buying my art. You gave me the confidence to take it further and for this I''ll be forever grateful. So, today, I'm concentrating what I can do... and not what my body wont let me do.
I'm reminding myself.... 'whether I believe I can, or I can't I'm right'.... That's why I got these beautiful hoops custom made as a reminder (along with my own art on my walls) by Natalie Gaynor Designs.... a very talented embroidery artist.
I also have this stunning quilling art by Carla Bagshaw at Cut by Hand. I was lucky enough to attend a one on one class with her and had so much fun.
Positive vibe only in this house!!!!!
